Hair: Blonde Eyes: Green Voice: Alto Belt/Mezzo Sop/Belt to F Yvonne is both a comedic and dramatic Actress/Singer/Dancer/VO Artist, with a flare for physical comedy. She has enjoyed an extensive career in Theatre, Film, Commercials and Voice-Overs, as well as working as a Choreographer and Dance Teacher.
Originally from Northern California, she attended College while in high school, taking Acting and Directing classes from Jim Kirkwood, a former Protege’ of Lee Strasberg. Following high school graduation, she moved to New York City and became a graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She spent a semester studying Shakespeare at the University of London and also studied at Circle in the Square in NYC. She was an original company member of The Actor's Space Theatre Company with Artistic Director, Alan Langdon and esteemed company member, Phillip Seymour Hoffman. She has starred in numerous theatre productions Off Broadway in New York and Regionally across the country. Favorite New York credits, among many, include playing Bettina Barnes (the sex kitten of B-Movies with a nasty temper) in PSYCHO BEACH PARTY on Theatre Row and playing country singer Brenda Lee and young Patsy Cline in PATSY CLINE SHOOTING STAR, the workshop production at The John Houseman Theatre. Other favorite shows among many, in New York and Regionally include: WEST SIDE STORY/Anita (7 productions), CHICAGO/Roxie/Velma (3 productions), COMPANY/Amy/ Marta), GOOD PEOPLE/Jean, PAJAMA GAME/Gladys, DAMN YANKEES/Lola/Gloria (3 productions), KISS ME KATE/Lois Lane, GUYS AND DOLLS/Adelaide, SHE LOVES ME/Ilona Ritter, LAUNDRY AND BOURBON/Hattie (2 productions), THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE/Muzzy Van Hossmere, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG/Sonia, LYING IN STATE/Buttons, THE CRUCIBLE/ Betty, MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM/Hermia. Some of her favorite theaters include: THE WALNUT STREET, ARKANSAS REP, GALVESTON ISLAND OUTDOOR MUSICALS, TOTEMPOLE PLAYHOUSE, BRISTOL RIVERSIDE THEATRE, TRI ARTS PLAYHOUSE, WORCESTER FOOTHILLS THEATRE, SHADOWLAND THEATRE, SHENANDOAH MUSIC THEATRE, MUSIC THEATRE NORTH, PAPERMILL PLAYHOUSE, THE LAMBS THEATRE, among many. On Film she worked as a Principal Dancer in CENTER STAGE, choreographed by Susan Stroman, and the sitcom, HOPE AND FAITH, choreographed by Warren Carlyle. Yvonne received a Philadelphia Barrymore Nomination for her portrayal of Roxie Hart in CHICAGO, Best Supporting Actress of the Season for The Shadowland Theatre for LAUNDRY AND BOURBON and was chosen in The Top Ten Performances of the Year by The Metroland News in Albany, NY for her performance as Anita in WEST SIDE STORY at The Park Playhouse Theatre.
